About Nakuru Physiotherapy & Wellness Centre

We exist because Nakuru patients were being told the real help was in Nairobi. For rehabilitation that is rarely true, and the travelling is usually what makes treatment fail.

How we work

Nakuru has good acute care and very little rehabilitation. The gap shows up the same way again and again: a fracture treated properly, a plaster removed, and then nobody to take the limb from healed to working. Or an operation in Nairobi, a follow-up in six weeks, and no local physiotherapy arranged for the six weeks that mattered most. Closing that gap is most of what this practice does.

We also try to write plans for the lives people actually have. Telling a market trader or a farm worker to rest for a fortnight is not advice, it is a reason for them never to come back. What can be modified usually can be: how a load is lifted, how the day is broken up, which single task is doing the damage, and strength work raises what the body tolerates.

Practically: assessment before treatment, short home programmes rather than sheets of twenty exercises, payment per session with no pre-paid blocks, and a straight answer when what you need is a doctor rather than us.
