Frequently asked questions

About treatment with us

Do I have to go to Nairobi for proper physiotherapy?

For routine rehabilitation, no. It is hands-on work that depends on being seen regularly, and a course you can actually attend beats a better-known practitioner two hours away that you visit three times before giving up.

Which parts of Nakuru do you cover?

Milimani, Section 58, the CBD, Naka, Free Area, Lanet and Kiamunyi as standard. Njoro, Bahati, Rongai and Gilgil by arrangement, and Naivasha on scheduled days.

Do I need a referral?

No. Book directly. If we think you need an X-ray or a doctor first, we will say so and help you arrange it.

I cannot afford a long course. Is one visit useful?

Often yes. A correct diagnosis and a written home programme is a large part of the benefit, and we will build the most useful version of that if it is what your budget allows. We do not sell pre-paid blocks.

I cannot stop working. Will treatment still help?

Yes, but the plan has to be honest about it. We work on what can genuinely be modified (how you lift, how the day is broken up) and build capacity from there rather than telling you to rest.

How many sessions will I need?

Four to six for most straightforward problems. If four sessions have not moved it, we look for another explanation rather than booking a fifth.

What should I wear?

Something you can move in, giving access to the area being treated: shorts for a knee, a vest for a shoulder.

How do I pay?

M-Pesa or card, after the session. Itemised receipts provided for insurance claims.
